Aluminum is a great material to work with because it's so strong and durable. It'll do a better job of housing your computer than plastic or any other material would. And it has a nice sleek look to it, so you really can't go wrong. You'll find a lot of high quality professionally made options out there, some handmade out of diamond cut aluminum sheets.
In terms of pricing, you'll want to decide on what your budget is before you fall in love with any one particular model. Cases can run anywhere from under a hundred dollars to over three hundred. Decide on how much you want to pay and for what features. If all you're looking for is something simple then you won't have too much to worry about. But if you want to go in for extra features, think about what you want and how much you're going to spring for it.
One example would be if you're a hardcore gamer. If that's the case, cooling and an excellent graphics card will be at the top of your list. Naturally, you'll want a case with those same features at the top of its list. Think about what qualities are most important for you in terms of your case by considering what you're going to use your computer for.

How can I use print a logo on a computer case? (brushed aluminum)?
If possible something that is as durable as possible. A badge is an option but I wanted something like thermal printing. Are there any companies that can furnish me a roll of wax-resin with my logo that I can simply heat up on the aluminum?
or even better is there any way to print it using a laser/ink jet printer?

Your best bet is a vinyl "wrap", custom printed.
The only way to print on aluminum is using a special ink and UV curing, that I know of. And AFAIK, only 3M's special UV printer can can do that, and there aren't that many of them in the world, and using it just for ONE logo... the cost will be prohibitive.
